Ryuu found himself in what appeared to be Tori's bedroom. It was clear that she was still very, very confused.

"But...who are you?" she had asked him.

"...if I tell you...promise...to hear me out..." he responded slowly, not dropping his gaze. After a few seconds of silence, Tori nodded.

This was the moment he had been waiting for. The moment when he could finally reveal himself to his sister and finally reunite with her. But he had no idea what her reaction would be, or how she would be changed by this fateful event. Whatever happened... Ryuu took a deep breath, and as he exhaled, he let out the words.

"I am...your brother....Ryuu Tsubasa."

Tori's eyes widened, bit by bit, and suddenly she lost her balance, flailing her arms around. Ryuu moved swiftly and caught her before she hit the ground, helping her up to her feet. "I know...it must be shocking..." he sighed, "but...it is...the truth..."

She staggered over to the bed and sat down on it, lost in her confusion. Ryuu watched her expression change as she tried to put the pieces together. It was a while before she spoke again.

"...then, if you're my brother," she breathed, "do you know...what happened...to me?"

He knew she would ask that. That question about her past. Ryuu stared at his feet. The past. Something he didn't quite want to remember. There were moments of pure joy...and moments of pure pain.

"...I do," he said quietly. "It is not...a very happy tale..."

"Please tell me. I've been wondering about my past for a long time."

"Would you...believe it?" Another silence.

"I...have nothing else to believe." That was her reply. It was enough for Ryuu. He sighed and sat down next to her, tracing his memory back to how it all began.

"Then...listen closely..."
